- ATAGI held its 34th face to face meeting for 2007 on 7 - 8 June in Sydney.
- ATAGI developed advice for the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) on vaccines for herpes zoster, human papillomavirus, influenza and hepatitis B.
- The PBAC draft proforma for pre submission advice was reviewed.
- The Zoster Working Party Report was endorsed by ATAGI members.
- The ATAGI Pneumococcal Working Party delivered a progress report.
- The design and communication strategy for the Australian Immunisation Handbook 9th Edition was accepted by ATAGI members.
- Advice on the suitability and safety of dTpa as an alternative to dT following the discontinuation of ADT production in Australia was developed for the PBAC.
- The next ATAGI meeting for 2007 is scheduled for 4 - 5 October in Melbourne.
